Apparently not.
I'm somewhat baffled by some of the changes too, especially Parker. If they set some sort of cut-off based on effort last weekend, you'd think he'd be one of the few who was above it; and some that you'd think were below it are still there.
I can only assume there is some sort of plan, based on potential match ups, or scoring potential, or something...Comment

I'm flummoxed, must be about match ups, but why play white atall? He goes ok in the ruck i guess, but doesn't Seaby offer more around the ground or a better target..... anywhere? Givem there is a huge chance it will be wet, why would youdrop parker and bring in another tall in Spangher, not that I think Spang is a bad player, but going for height in the wet is a bit odd, although the Saints do have a tall team. Parker maybe feeling the pinch a bit so I'm not surprised. I am surprised at Whites inclusion. Didn't do anything last week that screamed pick me so he might be in for a specific match up. Either that or he had a cracking week on the track. With the wet weather I would have thought Nipper in the forward line would have been a good idea. Hard at it and can sniff out a goal. Anyway all the debate on selections will come to nought unless the team has a red hot crack. If they don't do that it wouldn't matter who they pick.I'm flummoxed, must be about match ups, but why play white atall? I just don't know..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)Comment

Luke Parker got 7 possessions in one quarter last week & gets dropped. Most of the side didn't even get that in a half. The selection policy is baffling & is sending the wrong message to young players. You do well & we drop you. I am totally bamboozled by these moves by the selection committee. I understand the need for height against St Kilda but I thought Luke was ace last week when he came on. Frustrated would not describe my emotion at the moment. I hope all the players that come in do well, they had better because a couple of potential regulars went out to make way for them.Apparently not.

I don't agree with you on the Parker feeling the pinch, what evidence do you base that on Al? Seven possies in one quarter last week & one of the most self possessed of our team on the day. Gee he is really feeling the pinch, what a lot of crap!!! I do agree that Nipper should have been given a go as both you & Henry Playfair thought he was sensational last week. Obviously Henry's opinion means nothing to the selection committee.Parker maybe feeling the pinch a bit so I'm not surprised. I am surprised at Whites inclusion. Read my post carefully mate. "Maybe" being the important word here. You and I don't know how Parker is feeling, only the coaching staff do. It's all a matter of conjecture because we don't know but 1st year players do the feel the pinch at this time of year with some dropped to the ressies to freshen so it's not as "crap" an idea as you suggest.I don't agree with you on the Parker feeling the pinch, what evidence do you base that on Al?
