From the cheeky look on his face I wouldn't be surprised to see NicMal come in somewhere.

He'd be sub before resting.I think Cheer Squad's suggestion was more aimed at resting Rooster if his knee isn't well, not just a standard resting of a young guy after a few games; I think it's reasonable to ponder given his biggest strengths are his attack on the ball and his speed (both of which could take a hit from a sore knee).
I want him to play regardless, I don't think it's likely to be problem enough to justify not playing him- but I don't think it was that crazy a thing to ponder.
He's got the whole off season to rest. The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.Comment

Grundy would be gone for the season.
Its been a few decades since I had it but I did have whooping cough 2 years ago and that takes 6 months to recover even if you're very fit when you get it.
At least with GF, once you've had it you don't get it again but not so with whooping cough. In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.Comment

Hawthorn are supposed to have 56,224 members, so if you add on all our Melbourne members, the crowd should be at least in the vicinity of 65,000.Comment

It will depend on walk-ups in the MCC area most likely - fickle bunch they are. I reckon it'll be 50k-55k, considering how many St Kilda fans and members there are and that game still only bought 39K to Etihad."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment
