I'd be very happy if we played as many games at the SCG as the Pies do at the MCG.

It's not credible to compare the SCG to the MCG - either as an AFL venue, or on any criteria you'd care to name.

No but I was hoping to elicit a logical argument about why we need to play away from our HOME GROUND.

You missed the point. You intimated that playing away from the dimensions of the SCG should help the Swans. Playing at Stadium Aust hasn't helped us at the MCG now has it. ?

If you want help with logical arguments, ask Mr. Spock.

While you're at it, ask him if it's logical for someone to buy memberships to both the Swans and the Giants.

Neither has playing at the SCG. Especially this year.

Not illogical if you want to see AFL footy every week in Sydney .
I used to watch AFL every week in Perth .
Now I try to attend WAFL matches more .
                  give it to the game

No one suggested it has or will.

You're the only one suggesting that playing at Homebush will help us in anyway.

I have not seen 1 compelling reason as to why we should not be playing at our home ground all year.

Agreed - especially when Homebush/Olympic Park is GWS's home.

I guess we are different to Perth and Adelaide where those cities' two teams share the one stadium, but I will not be pleased to play any more games at Homebush nor would I be at all pleased if GWS try to play 'home' games at the SCG.

I couldn't find Mr Spock but checked with Captain Kirk. He said if it's good enough for some blokes called Paul Kelly and Michael O'Loughlin then it should be good enough for me.

                        Very logical.

                          I agree.

-It's totally illogical to want to Support the great game of AFL in this city especially out west where I've lived for the past 42 years

                          - It's totally illogical to want to watch more AFL in this city and save money while doing so.

No one is giving up their Swans support or membership. We are supporting the AFL and getting to watch more AFL in the process. What's illogical about that.

Talk about being in two minds.

Maybe I should have quoted the Robot from Lost in Space - ''it does not compute".
