Geez with all those serious injuries you'd reckon he'd be on the injury list wouldn't you?

I don't understand how people were saying that Rohan was sooking?

      What was he sooking about?

Or wasn't he manly enough that he had to act like he wasnt in pain, just to satisfy the blokey element that goes to the footy?

Someone care to enlighten me please?

Suggest you ignore it. Someone out there stirring the pot, and some of you have bitten. Noone in their RIGHT mind would consider any sooking going on. I was completely amazed how resilient the kids were.

Roosy said this (ie clearly quoted me ) on OTC last night. Clear evidence that he reads RWO and rates my posts.

            Rooster is no sook.
One of the things I really like about Rohan is how hard he is. For a guy who does flashy things ( freakish pace, freakish leap, kicking freaking goals), the fact that he also seems to relish getting his hands dirty, putting his body on the line and doing the hard stuff is really admirable. If ( as on Saturday) he cannot impact a game with his natural talent, skill and flair, then he can with his will and hardness at the contest. There aren't too many players you can say that about.

                TV ratings:
"The match, played at ANZ Stadium in Sydney, drew an average of 1.178 million viewers on Channel Seven and Fox Footy nationally."

"Channel Seven's coverage of the Giants-Swans game was the top ranked program in its timeslot in Melbourne, and the match was also the number one program on 7Mate in NSW."

Next thing you'll ask me is whether I cook and clean at home and the answer is no.... Gotta go, I hear a knife being sharpened in the kitchen.

I do all of those things Al, you see that makes me the one sharpening the knives. Can't knit (can't even spell it, had to look it up). My lot get very parochial about the Swans and we make no apologies for it! We are true blue Bloods fans all the way. It doesn't matter who we used to follow we are now with the Swans and have been for years. We can get a bit hot under the collar especially about the umpies and the occasional expletive slips out.

Worth reading - a view from Leaping Larry of The Age:
                        Snow job reaches blizzard status
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Very good, extremely funny. If it wasn't so true it would make a good comedy routine

That's an excellent summation of that nights commentary, especially when they were all in awe of falous dismal rucking even though he was well beaten by mummy with a nice bit of tap work. No mention of mummy but a heap of praise on the ever so multi talented israel "i charge the afl $250-500k per kick" falou.
