If you buy tickets a couple of days out from a blockbuster game, sure you may not get cheap seats; such is life. However for casual fans affordable options are always available and the Swans have always given good deals for those who want a taste of what AFL is like. People within my family were interested but casual fans and a few years ago saw the 3 match superpass flyer in their mail box. The deal was for 3 (ANZ) games with extremely cheap options ((i'm talking less that $15 a game) and included a little freebie cap. This translated to greater support and patronage.
The notion that people are consistently priced out of the footy is a little ridiculous.Comment

Agreed but Silver is sold out and it seems like they made a lot of seats fall in the Gold category... $63.50 is well priced for a family but only if u can buy such tiks. I'm not bothered personally but i reckon it'll scare off potential new fans who don't normally come which is a shame. My Gold seats are pretty much regular seats, nothing particularly fancy about them.Comment

Is the 10% members discount available on the Silver seating.
I was looking at buying a family ticket for some friends but it would not work with the 12 digit barcode - only Gold would work for members discount.Comment

If Level 6 is open, we're probably looking at a 60K plus crowd - very exciting! Can't wait for Saturday night!Comment

If we beat Carlton, barring a disaster on the Gold Coast, we will be on nine in a row at the top of the table and would naturally draw better than after a loss. No matter what it should dwarf our prior attendances in 2012.
If we win, the Sydney media will have to start taking notice and will talk up the game big time. If we lose, the media might retreat to a "They are pretenders" line. I reckon the crowd could fluctuate by 10,000 on that result.
Beat Carlton 65,000 - 70,000
Lose to Carlton 55,000 - 60,000
Wish I could be there. I have put my travelling eggs in the Hawthorn Round 22 basket.
Will be watching from the edge of my seat.Comment

I've seen ads on TV for the game. Plenty of my lay-person friends are asking about it and are interested in my thoughts on the game. There seems to be a raised interest level from my observations, but I accept that might mot be universal.Today's a draft of your epitaphComment

It's been mentioned the game is Sydney's best chance to beat Collingwood for a long time.
Apart from that, it's business as usual.Comment
