ThisGrundy's was a moronic act and I have no sympathy. If he was from another team playing against us we'd all say he got what he deserved. Having said that, I'd love to hear the AFL explain how Judd's elbow into Pav's face last year wasn't considered sufficiently forceful to warrant reporting. Given he split Pav's face open it was inarguably a lot harder than Grundy's . The explanation is the obvious one we will never hear.'Delicious' is a fun word to sayComment

It is an extremely important game to win.
Win and a prelim against either eddiewood or eagles at home.
Lose and we have to play Geelong and then Hawks before Grand final at MCG.
If Eagles win, does that mean eddiewood plays them in Perth if they lose to Hawks?Nothing like a good light bulb moment.Comment

Re: Changes for Adelaide
Very disappointed with Grundy right now, his partnership with Ted has been crucial this year. At least we have LRT to replace him in defence, but who plays in the forward line? Our structure (when it actually works!) looks best IMO with LRT and Reid as forward targets, Goodes as a 'floating' forward and Mummy or Pyke as the resting ruckman. Options are Morton, Walsh, White, Spangher, Everitt, TDL. We can only really pick one of these. Who would you go for? You could make a case for all of the above, but I have no idea!Comment

Come on Dirty...I assume you've seen the incident?
He looks at Pod, raises the elbow, and hits him flush on the side of his face.
The only thing that could possibly be disputed is the level of the impact.
But at the end of the day it was a deliberate elbow to the head...He deserves a week.Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MTComment

Yes i saw it, again and again like a bad dream! I don't dispute the above at all.Come on Dirty...I assume you've seen the incident?
He looks at Pod, raises the elbow, and hits him flush on the side of his face.
The only thing that could possibly be disputed is the level of the impact.
But at the end of the day it was a deliberate elbow to the head...He deserves a week.
I do think you can Challenge it through. The impact was negligible, we can argue he went to elbow him in the shoulder, not the jaw. We can challenge the high aspect of deliberate, been done before.
I reckon we will.
I could be in some way incorrect, never wrong of course!!!Comment

My initial thoughts were he would stand a good chance on insufficient force, but on the different angle I saw tonight, I think he's in more trouble than a first home buyer...Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09Comment
