I went into the Ticketek agency at Westfields, Parramatta today and picked up the tickets I'd purchased online on Monday. Sales have been very robust but there were still tickets available. I'm sure the bloke said that there were about 3,500 of Swans tickets left. I didn't quite understand what he was saying but it may have been "Swans Area" tickets. He scrolled the screen down and it seems like many of them are singles and not block vacancies. He wasn't able to give me a total figure for sales. Interestingly, I heard on the radio this morning that sales were now over 50k (and we were ahead of the NRL). Not sure if this factors in Stadium members who no doubt would add quite a few thousand to the total. My feeling is that we are headed for a crowd of over 60k which will be our biggest for many years. Who knows, we may even get close to 70k. The weather is looking good so there aint going to be too many excuses.

*ahem* SMFC!And imagine if on top of bumper crowds at both ANZ, two further things happen:
1. The Hawks/Crows game fails to pull a bigger crowd than even our league game.
2. Both the Storm and the Hawks lose their prelims, wiping the entire state of Melbourne off the sporting map for next weekend.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)Comment

57,000 tickets now sold, which does not include the 10,000 Stadium Australia members.
I would think 65,000 and above is now expected by the AFL.
DST"Looking forward to a rebuilt, new, fast and exciting Swans model in 2010"

Mrs Hot Potato has just said "Get me a ticket! "
She hasn't been to a game since the 2006 Granny, and before that the 2005 Granny. She has divined something big is happening at The Bloods.
There will be lots of similar requests = strong crowd.
Her last flickering embers of R. Union interest went out ages ago."He was proud of us when we won and he was still proud of us when we lost' Tami Roos about Paul Sept 06.
