dawes gone. Even though he's been useless lately, thats a big out for their structure. Krakour looks like his lack of fitness is catching up to him too.

I suspect you will find that jolly's injury is the 30 minute last quarter up by 12 points tweak.

dawes on the other hand i think will struggle to get up.

i think we will be playing the second best team in the comp but we are close to them - and we will have had the week off and we just have to make sure our home away from home is really up for this.

by the way I hate what andrew demetriou and anderson and bartlett have done with the game by introducing continuous movement of the ball - the encouragement of players to just throw the ball to another player has meant that there really is no advantage in actually tackling someone - the game is now just a situation where players get rewarded for dropping the ball to the feet of a teammates.

Collingwood were pretty good. Their swarming defence was up and running and they just kept stifling the West Coast spread. Watching WC handball reminded me of us - hand ball to release the spare man but ends up in a turnover becasue the Pies just have that many players around the ball.

We better be ready. I'm not going to tolerate another wasted opportunity; we've just got to want it more. The Pies did tonight and they got home.
