I like the combination of Tippett and Nank. I would think that Pyke is done. He doesn't offer much around the contest.

That was probably the best game we've gotten out of Tipoff so far.... plate in his hand and everything.
We should play Adelaide every week.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Nah... Adelaide was the second best game.
Tipoff thrilled me on the weekend.
        Ruck AND goals.

Isn't his contract up at the end of the year?

That was the baseline standard required from Tippo if we are to be any chance in the finals

Next year, it was a four year deal

Whilst he has improved this year, you'd imagine if he wants to stay at the Swans he'd be getting a pay cut in 2017

Played a cracker but he beat up on a bunch of blokes he could rag-doll. Let's see it against one of the good sides.

I hope he can produce similar stuff in the finals against desperate quality opposition. Saturday's performance was great but it was against a bunch of mostly kids who had pretty much chucked it in....

                  Nearly there Tippo....

Excellent game, all be it against poor opposition.

A game like that over in Perth in week 1 of the finals....That's my new hope.

Thankfully.....otherwise the Hawks would be making a play for him!

I think you are being a bit harsh. Every since he was out injured he has played very well in every game, Surprised me even. After that Hawthorn Game, I was thinking what a bad investment he was. But Now!!! Not that bad. I think the critics of Pyke have been also harsh. He has a chronic knee complaint throughout the year. If he gets over it we could see some good footy. Don't believe he is done just yet. Cannot see Nankervis making the grade.

I wouldn't be writing Nankervis off yet - he is only 21 and he was a latecomer to the game as he was a promising fast bowler who was a cricketer first and foremost until he was 17. Big men take a bit longer anyway as a rule but I have liked his presence and aggression when he has played. He is only 2cm shorter than Tippett so height aint a problem

Needs a big off and pre-season though as 2016 will be a very important year for his career

The Thing that worries me about Nankervis is how slow he is. You cannot be a slow lumping ruckman any more. Those days are gone. You need to be reasonably mobile at least.

New AFL Deal opens up the possibility that keeping Tippo could be an option, before now the spike in Buddy's earn in year 4 would have definitely seem him look elsewhere.

Provided he is reasonable with his demands he is looking like a real keep for mine, granted it was sub standard opposition but Saturday was one of the best games I have seen him play.

Gerard Healy said that to have any chance this year we needed as few things to go right - think they were Tippett having an All Australian Year, Zak Jones coming through, Tom having a breakout year and Heeney. Sure he aint AA all year but if he plays like that in the Finals we will be a real shout

Brett Kirk will bring out the best in Tippo. I predict he will get right into his head and Tippo will turn into a goal kicking machine, now that we have Sinclair. Get on him for the Coleman Medal and Heeney for the Brownlow.
