Can we now agree that Kurt is earning his wages and justifying the belief that the Swans had in his ability when they signed him? Last season and so far this season he has been one of our most influential performers.
Someone mentioned on another thread that he doesn't get any recognition when he does well and is marked hard when something doesn't click. Well he hasn't had many mentions recently so he must be doing something right.
I feel that his best will come over the next two to three years and look forward to his partnership with Callum Sinclair over that time.

He certainly is a very valuable player for us and I really like the partnership he is building with Sinclair.

I don't like the debates with players when they are on high wages making them have some sort of higher hurdle, Kurt is doing a great role for us and I love the variety he gives us. BUT if he is on $1M a year (Sinclair is on about $400K I believe) then he managed to negotiate himself an extremely good deal.

Yes he did and he is in his best form since joining.As for the money the commentators alluded to the fact that just one good semi series with Adelaide got him the multi contract. Has always been under more intense scrutiny because of his high wage eating the cap.No fault of his own of course but at least now he is showing versatility to justify it.

No, I think that they'll hold their own. Though I'm sort of hoping that whoever is doing the coverage, will get in David Attenborough as a special comments man. As the spectacle should be a bit like two moose rutting.
