Too many moments I loved. Can't put my finger on one. There was so many good stories to come out of our granny.

Pyke's nationality, Shawy's horror 2003, now GF winner. Macca's lovely daughter, Luella. Malceski not having won a grand final. Jude's milestone year, topped with a grand final. Joshy's redemption against the Glenferrie Hawks.

What a day, god bless you swannies.

All the commentators were saying 'Gee, he's going to need a hard tag tonight, put Brett Kirk on him, wouldn't let him out of my sight etc'
Haha! The old man and I were loving Hanners! Legend that bloke.

Nup, I have one moment I think I will package with this as it was a celebration of magnitude and only moments from the final siren, so that counts as post match (ish).

The slomo of NicMal aiming at Rhyce with Ted sandwiched in between in the post goal celebration. The look on his face ...... the sheer wonderment and joy shared.

and Primmy.....that same moment the look of concern of Nick Smith in the background. He admitted later that he lost track of time and thought there were still minutes to go....he was thinking "Gee guys, celebrating a bit early arent we?"and I also recollect a smiling Jetta waving both arms to signal "everyone back"....loved this kid's composure throughout the whole grand final. Before we drafted Jetta he had a reputation for loving and producing on the big stage in his junior days. If he keeps his head and continues to work hard we may have a 'very special' player on our hands.

My fav moment would have to be as the siren went, the reactions of the Swans players. All of them with their arms in the air, Goodesy and a few others (can't remember who) dropping to their knees, the red and white crowd jumping up, Horse's reaction in the coaches box, pure raw emotion. Always brings a tear to the eye especially when Foxtel show it in slow motion.
Ooh...which reminds me, Prelim Final and GF replay on tonight. (For those of us waiting for Santa to bring us our Victory Packs)
I might have a slight drinking problem. My husband asked me to toast some bread for him...so I raised my wine glass and said "Here's to bread!"

Marty Mattner on the dais goes to shake the kid's hand and gets fresh air. I laugh every time I see it.

Like rok wearing the cap and not giving it to the kid.
Or Jetta(?) trying to put the cap on the kid and he hasn't unfolded it. So it won't stay on. Even the poor kid couldn't work out why it wouldn't stay on.

I always have a giggle at the kids playing with the confetti.

Kind of puts "greatness" into age context doesn't it. Every replay I watch for that moment.

All of the above and a special mention to the Roos post game interviews. Surely its unique (or fairly unusual) to have the former coach so obviously delighted and well-received by the players on GF day? ......another indication of this great club and all that it encompasses.

Anyone notice Nathan Gibbs nearly getting knocked arse over in the celebration on the bench? I have a bit of a smile every time I see it.
