On a more serious note, I don't reckon he'd be able to break into the best 22 this year. With a full preseason next year though... =)Comment

I think he definitely could as the sub. Apparently lost none of his pace, and if his fitness is there and he gets through a few Ressies games, see no reason why he cannot make it back as the sub at least and be a real weapon for us come finals. Anyone recall his turn as the sub against west coast last year at Subiaco? Think he had 60-70 super coach points In a quarter of footy.Comment

Really I only want to see him back when he's ready - I don't want to see him getting any setbacks..... Whether its 2013 or 2014, I'll just be stoked to see him back on the field.Comment

I'm sure he won't be back on the field until the medical team say so. But what's exciting is that his recovery this year has been at the top end of expectations. Sounds like he'll be running out for the twos in the next few weeks. The man who laughs has not yet heard the terrible newsComment

Can't wait to see him back on Foxtel but the twos is where he should be (and most likely will be) until he is tearing up the NEAFL.Comment

I was looking at some of the earlier posts on this subject. There seemed to be a lot of negativity from south of the border. I was always confident he would be back from listening to what the doctors and physios said. As Matt Cameron said he will be right to go next week and if he doesn't play Two's next week then the week after. He will probably only play a half to start with in the Twos and build from there a bit like they did with Tom Mitchell. He is a really brave young bloke and full of desire and grit and he will make it if it because of this determination.Comment

I hope he gets back to form this season, and play a couple of high intensity elite AFL matches at the end of the home and away season, because he will be a damn handy forward come finals. As people have been saying, he may be looking more likely than Goodes."Take me down to the Paradise City where the grass is green and the Swans win pretty."Comment

Ok cool. Outside of mentally struggling, I really worry that the lack of pace could be his biggest hurdle. Especially with his skill set.Comment

I worry more about the kid. I just want him to be able to have a long satisfying life without a pronounced limp.
voss and barlow came back and played good footy, nathan brown struggled and never hit the heights again and any number of professional soccer players never made it back at all.
I've said it about 100 times but that goal at kardinia park in 2011 was so wondeful that if he comes back anything at all like that I would be over the moon. And if he does and if jetta ever recovers teams will not know how to play against us because they will need 2-3 spare of the back of their defence which is 2-3 they cant have near the ball.Comment

Yeah that goal was special. But it's his hunger as displayed with his chase down tackles that edged him ahead of Jetta in my hopes and dreams stakes. He was possibly just as quick, but harder, hungrier and a better mark/kick eff. Now this isn't to bash on jetta who has been fantastic. (Yes you can argue he has gone missing at times, but he has definitely gone in when his time came). I just think Rohan has all the attributes of Jetta and just a bit more.
I hope this kid, who appears to be so friendly, approachable and a great team mate can achieve his dreams, live up to our hype and have a pain free life after it all.Comment
