Match Thread Round 1- Vs GWS

    Here we go!

Our campaign to do something for the very first time in our history (Back to back premierships) is about to start. We've come close before, 1934, 2006.
Can we pull it off this year?

One thing's for sure, it's going to be a hell of a journey along the way, full of ups and downs.

Looking forward to seeing it kick off in just over an hour now..

    No changes to either team.

    Swans Bench
Dan Hannebery, Luke Parker and Marty Mattner will start on the interchange bench for the Swans, while Tony Armstrong will start the match as the sub.

Looking forward to it naturally, hope we have a tough hit out to be honest - a close win might be better for us than thrashing them.

I reckon we are a long way off it at the moment. Just hacking it forwards aimlessly

The defence is struggling, midfield very poor and forwards watching the mids kick it to their opponents. Ugly. Wouldn't want to actually drop this game.

We'll do enough to get the chocolates here, but are clearly still a little underdone.

Rampe looks a likely type, pace, energetic and attack minded. Certainly doesnt seem over awed.
Just an iffy drop of the ball when kicking could result in some dodgy disposal. Also needs to keep his feet more. But that will come with strength.
