    That was bizarre.

How many tackles can Selwood duck into and get a free kick?

I'm pretty irritated by this whole game. Anyone else feeling it? I desperately hope LRT is okay, but watching him hobble off on crutches makes me think it's bad.

Joel Selwood makes my blood boil. Hilarious that when he finally has a high free against him he's waves his hands in complaint. Little @@@@@.

The umpires have made it so easy for Geelong tonight. We've had to earn our goals while Geelong have had some freebies.

Our midfield defensively needs to pull their @@@@ together. They aren't controlling the corridor. Geelong is getting great thrust with a heavily manned half back line. They're playing on quick and beating us on the counter-attack. What they really improved on in the second quarter was their forward 50 pressure. Our backline run was shut down and desperate kicks were quickly won and sent back in with interest.

Good job Dean Rampe. He seems to have fitted in okay today; the most impressive thing being some of his defensive play one on one. Hanners is a gun - I love watching him play now. JPK needs to get involved though and ROK needs to clamp down on Selwood.

I'm still super nervy about this game. I hope Horse waves his magic wand and we pull it together in this quarter, especially given Geelong are tail end specialists.

I think we are looking a bit lost now. Grundy and Richards both turning the ball over. And we are looking like we can't cover the ground as well as them at the moment.

I too think the umpiring and the rules have kind of lost this game for me tonight. I am really getting to the point where any contest is a free for them or them dropping the ball being rewarded for it.

What is with the Geelong love-fest that goes on with the umpires??? They are ruining what is actually a pretty good game.
I might have a slight drinking problem. My husband asked me to toast some bread for him...so I raised my wine glass and said "Here's to bread!"

Umpiring completely shocking just over and over and why exactly do you think we're in trouble - endless frees for them.

Mummy bumping into Stokes - not a free. Weak assed Matthews excuses it by saying "it was more than 5 metres". Bulltisht. Had nothing to do with the play which had already gone on. I hate watching these games where the umpires just ruin it.
