We're playing bloody well - just keep it going for long enough. Lookm much more like the team we were at the back half of last year.

I am loving this setup - McVeigh shores up the back line, Reid and Everitt look much better across the middle of the ground, Goodes getting free all over the place and Morton getting it done (mostly, has to kick straight) up front.

Mitch , despite missing that goal, should be a permanent.

Swans look like a much better team when Adam Goodes is up and about. Morton is really giving us something in the forward line.

The questions are, how long can the swans keep doing this? will they get tired like they did last week? and how hard will Collingwood come back?

But good signs..and we can only get better.

Seriously I know the pies are undermanned, but how Morton is never in our best 22 is just beyond me.

Micky-O is in the commentary box tonight and I have seen Micky have a bad night with the boot once or twice We are due for some bad luck in front of goal and he did kick one good one. We are great from an opposition kick in too so taking marks and missing does not worry me unduly (for what that's worth), compared to the pies booting it back out from a contest we lose. I agree that the team looks better with Mitch in. Also, having him up front leaves room for Reid to play other roles, which he is doing very well tonight.

We should be 8 goals up, sadly. I also think Jude Bolton is on his last legs. He doesn't look like a player that can cover the ground as he used to. I'm pondering whether I would bring lamb on for him at 3/4 time.

It's difficult to imagine how we could have been more dominant in a single quarter and yet only kick three goals ???

At last we look like we did in September. Loving our ball movement.

Morton has been sharp but he's missed two gettable goals.

Great to see Goodes on fire again.

Just need to make sure we keep the foot on their throat.

Best half I have seen us play against a quality opposition all year. Sure we should have slotted a few more but we are cutting them open through the middle, we look quicker and harder at it, and Goodes is turning back the clock with a cracker game. Reid looks really sharp playing on the wing, and having Morton stationed in the 50 allows him more freedom to work up the ground. Mitch just needs to convert a bit better. Come on boys keep the foot on the throat and close it out this week.
