The opposition does have two quality KPD in Frawley and Garland so won't be easy for Tippett and Reid one on one. That said I'm also looking forward to the combination on a dry day with good service from the mids.

And speakig of the Dees, a classic quote from Patrick Smith in yesterday's Australian something along the lines of

I commented at the game had the Mummy administered Mcglynns tackle he'd be gone for 3-4 weeks. For Jacks bump I would have thought contact was below the shoulder, etc but how can they say insufficient?

Still bewildered that Hodge got off his second bump against Carlton.

        The circus rolls on.
I think the MRP decision was correct, but both very lucky that they players involved did not suffer a serious blow to the head. If they had I reckon it would have been about 2 weeks each (depending on loadings & discounts etc).

Mummy copped a serious blow to the head, nothing happened to the opponent.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Just reading the Syd-Melb match preview. Last three games:

            2012: Syd by 101 points
            2011: Draw
            2010: Melb by 73 points

              Must be a draw then.

This week = Sydney by circa 180 points on that trend.

Call me crazy, but I am strangely a little nervous about this game, a bit of a danger game perhaps? I think I'm still scarred from that 2010 disaster. Hope we can smash em.

I think you're crazy. Have you seen any of their games? It's kind of embarrassing and awkward to watch.

Using this pattern and constructing a form of mathematical logic we should win the game by 28 points

I think swansongster was more correct on this one. Over these three games, we have increased out points for/against by an average of 87 points, meaning a winning margin of 188 to continue the pattern.

I think we should take this opportunity to test our depth, as I don't believe it has yet.

If I was Longmire, I would:

                          - Take the players with the most inaccurate kicks and make them all forwards.
                          - Make KP defenders and midfielders swap positions.
                          - Send Benny McGlynn into the ruck.
                          - Make Tippett the runner.
                          - Bring in Mumford to cover Jetta's outside run.

We should still bring home the 4 points.

Can't imagine any major changes this week, my guess

                              In: Mummy, Reid
                              Out: Jessie, X Richards

                              Brandon sub

Yeah possibly....But Morton is probably back in the mix.

I'd like to see B Jack get another run also....And please don't make Lamb the sub.

If Morton comes in, his form has been so so, I'd make him the sub, or Jude.
