I am just as p'd off at the amount of blokey blokes who are defending McGuire atm. Because threatening to drown a woman is just as funny as racially vilifying a champion of the game.

Its irritating when the AFL and other organisations make an effort to stamp out this terrible kind of behaviour yet it still prevalent in large sections of our community.

we need someone to face up to McGuire and just give it to him live on air. Someone who has nothing to do with AFL and is not scared of the influence he wields.

Apparently Eddie's "apology" was fairly uninspiring this morning too. It would be interesting to know what authority the AFL has here as Eddie is employed by Nine, MMM and Foxtel, along with being the chairman at Collingwood, presumably appointed by their board. Will any of those organisations do anything? Robbo and Gerard have already spoken out while Nine has closed ranks, so Foxtel seems more likely.

Frawley is the one who realised what was happening a bit too late. No excuses but at least he has personally called Caro and left her a lengthy and sincere apology apparently, according to her on the radio this morning.
