Our rookie list needs rebuilding. We have seen Biggs and Mitchell leave, and Robinson, Richards, and Lloyd upgraded.

We only have Perris and Naismith continuing. We have fives spots to fill. Are there any other good Academy players we can ad that may escape the other clubs drafting them?

We've often used our 1st rookie pick to land a quality player. Nick Smith and Jake Lloyd for example. And there have been a fair few other 1st round rookies that have made good. There are often a few mature aged state league key defenders running around that never get picked in the ND; this could be an option for a rookie pick as well.

South Australian Keenan Ramsey (No Cookies | The Advertiser), who is blind in one eye sounds like an interesting KPD prospect. I think he could be available at pick 37 unless Adelaide take him with pick 35.

Freo and WCE have problems attracting non-WA players. Another small point about the advantage the Victorian clubs have over the rest of the league.

They really should be compensated for that
