    Doug Hadden
    Matt Rawlinson
    Tom Head

The AFLPA should be running the whole damn thing, seem to be the only organisation associated with the game that looks at things logically and from all sides.

Have you guys seen the result of the vote to date? Public opinion is looking in our favour especially considering the vast majority of AFL.com.au readers would be Victorian.

It's reassuring to hear that you know what I think.

Hopefully the VFL old boys club (President is McGuire) isn't listened to in preference to those that have the game as a whole as their priority.

AFLPA is another sane voice of reason amongst the sea of VFL "sky is falling" idiots. How the AFL can allow McGuire to be involved in anything is amazing given his seriously demented rants about the academies.

Talk in today's HS that Treloar (GWS) will be targetted by Collingwood along with several other Giants stars by Victorian clubs. Seems Eddie already has his NSW academy only he doesn't have to take a risk with drafting an untried player. He just goes and gets them when they prove to be a young gun. (The hypocrisy is mind numbing)

I don't think Eddie has a problem with the GWS academy. It's only the Swans academy that will bring ruination to the game. Melboune just love using GWS as their training centre for the first few years of a Victorian player's career. It also cuts down on the drafting risk.

Here's a good article from Richard Colless: http://news.google.com.au/news/url?s...5578044&at=dt0

I also had made the comment that I thought Chris Langford should step down, since he had a son playing for Hawthorn, although I never questioned his qualifications, just thought it was a conflict of interest. Now it seems that they will keep him around for the crucial vote on the academy bidding. It would have been nice to see him replaced by Michael Long.

Colless also seems to intimate that his comments might bring retribution upon the Swans. Interesting.

Colless: ?People are depressed, angry, disappointed but everyone is too gentlemanly to speak up,? he said.
Ah, we know who those gentleman are. Sigh! We love them but at times their good manners are very frustrating!

Before I even read the article I was thinking how great it would be to have Colless back. At least he had a little grunt in him.
