Match Day Thread Round 7 vs Geelong

No game day thread yet? I'll start then.

Heading to ANZ. Mild, calm and dry here in Sydney just now.

Dry! The news gets better and better. Hope it holds out.

Recalling our destruction of Geelong last year, as much as the forwards blitz, it was Malceski and Shaw both wreaking havoc from defence that won us victory. Difficult to replicate that now.
Form lines can be deceptive but I think the Cats have got their mojo back sooner than us so a tough game of old ahead. Bloods by 14.

Can we please fix the typo in the title? I fear bad karma, and it's a while since that redhaired bloke played for them.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Tom Hawkins late out! Gotta improve our chances you'd think although we wouldn't want to take them lightly! Towers named our sub which is predictable.

Weather radar looks pretty clear, just a few spots on the radar that shouldn't effect Western Sydney, so looking good for the skills of our team to shine.....

Lloyd needs to stop with the clangers. Even though he's leading the disposals, he's turned it over at least three times already.

Defence still looking a bit rubbish.

Bad turnovers by our defence again! They never learn!!

Stevie J really has some brain fades.

Geelong seem to be getting their goals too easily.

Our turnovers are just shocking. And the same aimless kicks into our forward 50. What is wrong with this team?

I know that GWS only beat a pathetic Carlton, but they look a lot closer to a premiership than we do at this point in time. Their ball movement and skill level is so far superior to ours.

Lucky to be only a point down. Backline mistakes looking like the Bulldogs game all over again! Forward entries have lacked cohesion and common sense. Horse should get into them, and lets hope they improve and actually resemble a finals bound team....

Agree with all of this especially GWS.
