Plenty of shockers tonight ... the defence is just woeful ... no cohesion ... no confidence ... they seem to just run away at centre clearances willy nilly ... our set up looks all wrong ... Rampe stopped being a potential star when he decided he had already arrived ... Shaw is gone ... Grundy is just slow thinking Grundy ... Mike has been round long enough to see 2 obvious hand passes in preference to a no look / round the corner 30 metre kick. Some one on here said he didn't think we would take them lightly ... in my mind they were favourites unless we started to play like our reputation ... and we haven't![/QUOTE]

Pyke is such a liability around the ground now.

We are at our stupid best with dumb disposals, stupid kicking and lots of poor decision making. A good team would be 6+ goals in front by now....

oh and no 15 in the umps is doing his bit to help the cats.... at least 3 goals directly from awful calls from him.

come on swannies, pull your finger out!

FFS! What is going on? Really poor effort so far. Glimpses of what we're capable of, then back to error riddled 'deer in the headlights' stuff. Umpires, of course, aren't helping, but we're our own worst enemy at the moment. Massive improvement needed in the second half.......

        It's a good close game .
Cats have some smart players and are a heaps better team than last year.
Hope we can time the centre hit outs a bit better.

It's the 7th game of the season. We have the best injury list in the league. We should be in top form, but if this is top form, we are in deep trouble. Win, lose or draw, a lot has to change for us to be serious contenders for anything this year. The evidence is in. It's just not working.

Better early but back to poor skills (Reid handpass to Goodes), Grundy generally, & poor decision making ... who would you prefer to kick a goal ... Parker from 40 or Kennedy from 30? Kennedy conspired with silly handpass later which resulted in a goal ... no composure. Let's hope they somehow manage to win.

We have taken the $4 Geelong. Sam Reid!!! Butchered 2 handballs for turnovers. I can't believe we let them back in. Our work is so sloppy. When oh when is Rohan going to turn it on. All he seems to do is stuff it up.

That was a shocking decision on Rohan.

Unbelievable game by Parker (stepped up even more from his great form).

                            Grundy finally finds some form.
We have them where we want them, everything is going according to plan!

Goodes still has a little something left. He looks to be gaining some confidence. Mitchell gathers stats in a most unassuming way ... One day his hands will be as good as Diesel's were. I like that Pyke is using his feet more often & (?) more confidently ... if not more effectively. I think (hope) that given a little time, Pyke's game will improve before his career closes. He's a proven contested mark (when in form), ok set shot (when given the opportunity & confident), effective tap ruckman, can run with pace (though that was early in his career), sublime tackler. If he can bring those all together in one game, he'll get 3 Brownlow votes that day.
