Heeney amazing! First year player first game back at AFL level after injury. Showing the early signs of being a great champion!

How the sub still hasn't been made says a lot about the coaching.

The choice of sub says a lot if you ask me....

Heeney is going to do the no 5 so proud - what a gun he is going to be, great to see him getting some time on the ball - least something of use is going to come out of this flogging.

Our back 6 has done well to withhold the siege for a decent part of the game. Rampe has had a very good game i feel.

To be fair. West coast have a team built with $1.8m more salary cap than us today.

In all seriousness, lloyd, cunningham have gone backwards.

I love Josh Kennedy but his kicks get smothered a lot these days.

A lot better quarter with a bit more run and marking.

But can someone please explain to me why Horse brings all the forwards up the ground and when we get possession we just kick it straight back to the opposition. Goodes in that qtr qa 1 out against 3 defenders - and he had no hope of getting possession.

Time to go ...jetta-doesnt put in a consist ant effort. 2 Grundy should not have been resigned. Panics under pressure...3 Shaw has been a great servant over the journey but is now finished...4 hannerbery still has some currency. No good getting the ball 37 times if you regularly turn it over 30 times.
We still have to pay buddy and tippet and can't do this if getting thrashed every week

Look this is a bad loss. But the young guys have looked ok. Mitchell should have played from the outset. Richards jones BJ nank heeney have given me a lot to be hopeful about

If Reid kicked 2.2 and we didn't give them those easy goals in the last 30 seconds of the first half and we would almost be in this.

Pyke ok in the ruck, Nankers showing a bit, Rampe fantastic, some of the young uns like Jones and Heeney solid, Jetta having a crack.

But that elite midfield ain't looking like much at all. Butchering the ball, not running as hard, sliding off tackles. Poo
Our elite midfield is slow and unaccountable defensively and the likes of Cunningham, Jack and Lloyd have a bit of speed but don't get in amongst it and are way too outside.

There is a heartbeat. Good to see us show something before the game finishes.

BJ, that was unacceptable and a big part of the reason you don't see more game time at this level.
