Does it give anyone else small comfort that Hawthorn are doing to West Coast what they did to us last year ?

I just can't stand the commentator fawning over Rioli. Sure he is very good but the way they carry on is too much. I was hoping the game would have been competitive, I can enjoy any teams playing as long as the game is competitive.

Ladies and gentlemen. The truth is that Hawthorn are a very very good team. They really are one of the best teams that's has ever played the game. Their time will come to an end over the next few years and hopefully we are there to take over but for now hawthorn are clearly excellent

I find myself in a weird position. Every time WC gets close, I want them to keep going for the win, and when they are far behind, wanting them to get smashed by more than we were last year. Strange......but still nauseating that the Hawks threepeat is a reality......

Somewhat. But I feel we can give it a shake next year with some good recruiting and natural improvement in the side. The Hawks have reached their peak. Mitchell , Hodge , Lewis Lake Burgoyne and Hale are all getting to the risky stage of their careers. We don't have that problem. Only McVeigh and Richards in that category.

That's not to say that some other clubs will not have a shot too.

Sort of agree. It shows that ruckmen who do not have influence around the ground are dinosaurs.
