Heeney was more expensive in draft terms than Fyfe!
He ate more cheese, than time allowed

I had a typical feral Hawthorn supporter sitting in front of me. He spent the whole game whining about the umpires. When Rohan was penalised for deliberate right in front of us I went postal. He proceeded to laugh and say that's what the hawks had been copping all night. I couldn't be bothered responding but then not long after he asked if paying Buddy $10 million was worth it and said that all the swans did is buy players from other clubs...pointing out Buddy, Tippett and McGlynn. Then the best thing happened in the next bit of play for the hawks when the ball went from Frawley (Demons), to Gibson (North Melbourne), to Burgoyne (Port Adelaide), to Gunston (Adelaide). My brother and I happily called out those team names as each player got the ball. He certainly stayed quiet after that and left with his tail between his legs when the siren went!

Yes, it seems that quite a few Hawks supporters, still seem to view the signing of Buddy, in terms of a defenceless and underprivileged Melbourne club, being unjustly plundered by a cashed up northern raider. Conveniently, they always seem to forget about their own annual plucking of talent from other clubs.
Glad you had the last laugh. Though it's a slight shame, that the chain of possessions didn't end with McEvoy being pinged for deliberate out of bounds.

Similar feral sat behind myself and Triple B.
Whinged bitched and moaned all night, even his wife was telling him to pull his head in at various stages during the game. The final straw came when Heeney flew for that speculator right at the end of the game. His mate said "oh he's hurt" to which the feral responded "good I hope he stays down". I turned around let him know I'd had enough of him and comments like that just proves what a classless feral he really is. I think his wife was a bit ashamed of his behaviour.

In BM's defence, he's a genuine bloke who is really passionate about AFL and sport in general. Take time to read his back story, watch an interview with the guy, and all of this will come into context.

Bruce Mc is usually o/k (only find him irritating when things aren't going our way.)
Much prefer him to B.T./Richo./CEO's brother & of late, Lingy.

                    BT is terrific.

Love the "Wow Wee" , "Boy or Boy" and the "Package" (Jake Stringer).

How good is BT's Ron Jeremy moustache?

Love the banter between Darrrrce and Riiiiiicho.

                    Highly entertaining talent.

Seems like the sort of middle aged guy who would have a plethora of funny onfield and off field stories. Would love to have a beer with BT and hear some stories.

"Talent" is not an obscure word and yet clearly you've never come across it used correctly.
My opinion is objective truth in its purest form

...and the usage of "entertaining" is a bit puzzling too.

Really? Our defence has been strong pretty much all year. Friday night they got back to their best after a drop in the Tiggers game.

How are the Hawks underdone? Not being a smartarse, just wondering why you think that nine rounds into the season.

I've never been a BT fan, especially after his dopey comments about Mike Pyke, but I realised there was more to him after hearing a little story I heard BT tell, against himself.

He was out driving when a car suddenly cut in front of him and he had to brake violently. At the next stop he got out of his car to have a few words with the driver. As he approached the car he realised the other bloke was wearing a Collingwood guernsey, and then saw it had his number on it. So he turned around and got back in his car. Now was he preserving the peace, or his reputation, or perhaps both?
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Hewitt shows the sort of composure I wish Towers would show, instead of the somewhat 'deer in the headlights' stuff, oh, and some extra 'ticker' would help. He would be in our best 22.
