Definitely not a good thing (but not massive if it is "just a social" thing) but I think the Club will provide support for him and make sure he realises the stupidity of it all.

Will be interesting to see how the club play this, I guess it depends on the mythical team rules that only they know about and the standards they require. The whole drugs issue must have been addressed by the group in their expectations and I expect that will drive the process

In these cases the Players Association will also step in to try to ensure acceptable outcomes in terms of the player's wellbeing.

Just surmising here but always wondered why the Dogs would let go a very promising key defender and brother of an all Australian key defender for nothing. Maybe they knew a little bit more about his recreational habits than was let on. No I have not ever tried any of these social drugs except alcohol and have no intention of being part of the everyone.

Caught by the police is the only unlucky part for him - caught by club or AFL then no one knows about it he is only a statistic then - reckless for him to get involved in this sort of stuff and his name will be tainted forever if found guilty - hope the club moves him on and don't try the re education path as clearly he has not been listening or not smart enough to understand - tough lesson to learn.

Bet he won't do that again. Just imagine. Horse Kirky Stuey as a starter. Ive always said facing up to Stuey would have you shaking in your shoes. And then there is the rest of them. ALL.

And I bet he won't be allowed to get bored ever again.

                      But what an idiot.

Plus they will have figures on how many players have tested positive to illicit drug use (including the off-season, "no strike" figures). I would be very surprised if the figure is less than 1.\

Not condoning illicit drug use, but it happens, especially amongst this age group.

This attitude spans the whole gamut of life - Drinking habits, sexual attitudes, drink driving, the lot. "I'm-uninformed and Reefer Madness" perhaps are a good summary!

Absolutely. But some nice hedonism would go down and he probably needed a kicker to keep up.

No. Drink driving is - or should be - a far bigger crime than a little self-indulgence.
