A Sydney final was always going to be played at ANZ.
It's part of the deal we made to leave the contract early.

Exactly this. Would be worth working the finals so that we play at Etihad, we like it there.
Hopefully the club learn from the massive mistake ANZ was.

Wasn't there quite a bit of debate last week re the use of phrases like "genuine Swans fan" and "real Swans supporter".
Now we have to deal with "normal footy club". So many questions re self identity on this forum. It's doing my head in.

The AFL want to schedule a final on a Thursday night but only if it is Adelaide or West Coast as they attract sellout crowds on Thursday nights.

I doubt they would schedule a final at ANZ on a Thursday night...there will hardly be anyone there.

I really hope our supporters turn up for our home final(s) this year. It's the last year we have to play at ANZ so no excuses. We want big crowds to cheer on our boys.

Jude Boltons last game in Sydney too. It was good times and I was hoping for a crowd of 70k+, but I think it barely hit 60k.

I suggest you tread very carefully having a go at the members barry, given they actually stump up cold hard cash to support their football team - not like some others who are wedded to a 'grand old lady'
