Why is a final against GWS at ANZ anyway, must be to appease GWS cos it cant be crowds, there would be a bigger crowd if we played Hawks, So next year if we get a home final against GWS it will be at SCG and presumably if its their home final it will be at spotless so I cant see why it has to be ANZ this year.Comment

Looking at the positives, at least we can blame the ground if they beat usHe ate more cheese, than time allowedComment

If you really want to increase our chances for a flag we should be putting our energies into moving the grand final out of the MCG. Assuming we finish first we have earnt the right to host it in any fair competition. 1996, 2014 we lost partly because we had to play away despite finishing higher. Same again this year. We can only hope we meet a fellow non victorian to even it out.
Now that is a cause you will have me 100% behind.

While its great that the Swannies can now play some finals football at their true home, playing GWS at ANZ stadium might be good preparation for the big one at the G later in September. I want them to be tested in the lead up to the GF (should we make it, that is), we all know what happened in '14 against the (awful) Hawks after we stomped North in the prelim.Comment

This is doing my head in with all the ladder permutations - but I think there is a bit of pressure off today - lose and we will still finish top 4. An away QF vs Hawks or Geelong doesn't sound too bad. Playing Giants 200m from their home ground is almost worse (but don't get me wrong - top spot and best % is justly deserved and worth fighting for).
So I'm going to relax and enjoy today!
If Adelaide had won I'd be a nervous irritable soul all day.Comment

Barry isn't a troll, he is a warrior in a noble cause.I don't agree with him but I don't get upset by him either.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)Comment
