Andrew Wu reckons an ANZ game would be Saturday arvo.

Id be very happy if it was a saturday arvo game. Id think a saturday night final is more likely- with the corresponding elimination final on the Sunday.

As long as its not a Thursday night ill be happy.

Hats off to Barry for today's performance - one of the best sustained efforts ever seen on RWO. I do fear, however, that's he's peaked before finals time. I can't see him sustaining such a fine effort over the next two weeks.....

I don't quite understand all the fuss about the stadiums. Really they are just grounds, it's the team I support. We have had a pretty damn good year so far. Seventeen wins and only one game we were comprehensively beaten in. Our stars are playing really well, and so many good young guys coming through. Not every year is like this. If we play GWS first up, as appears likely now, then hopefully it's scheduled for a time that maximises attendance, and hopefully we get some civilised weather.

Yeah whilst playing Adelaide week 1 would be ideal at least if we have to play GWS it would not be in a sudden death final...and win or lose we wouldnt have to meet them again til grand final. Also Geelong and Hawks would def be beatable at MCG if it had to be that way.

We would have more advantage over GWS at ANZ than Adelaide at SCG.
GWS havr played there once 4 years ago and i bet only a 5 or so GWS players remain, even if they could remember it.

This squabble over ANZ stadium v SCG is pointless. The team should be able to win on any ground if they want to win the premiership. Unfortunately, AFL is ignoring our pleas to drop the prices for the first 2 weeks of the finals. They are just too greedy. How much money do they still want to grab off us. They get plenty of it from TV rights, they should drop them to fill up the stadium.
