Players are told not to pick and choose a contest and we respect them for that. Fans...

If we must play them, I hope it is on the MCG. Of all the top 5 teams, they worry me the most.

sorry Barry - I wont go to ANZ for a final. Ive been to several finals there in the past - expensive tickets for crap seats with blocked views...long uncomfortable ride out there and as I'd be alone it's not a pleasant one either

fingers crossed for an SCG final

If you want to risk a pro giants crowd lifting there team to victory, so be it.

Dont pick and choose your contests

I went last year. I had pretty good seats that I thought weren't too expensive & the train trip was fine for us. Crap result against North, but had an ok time otherwise.
            Still rather SCG.

So i take it then barry youll be at the swans second home final at the scg then? After all your preaching for others not to pick and choose based on venues.

If not, your post smells of pots and black kettles....

Home final vs. Giants now looks very likely. Here's a scenario: AFL marketing will pump this up as the biggest game ever played in NSW. It will attract a respectable but in no way atypical Swans/Giants crowd of around 40000. Result: once again, a half-full ANZ when we could have had a pumping full SCG. Regardless of venue preference, which looks better for the game?

Whatever, if you come, make noise! I've been to a few ANZ finals with a good atmosphere (Pies 2012, Blues 2010) and the difference was crowd involvement. Get over it and get into it, hey there's a slogan.

Wise words neil. Leave pettiness at the anzac bridge... pick it up on the way home.

I hope we dont have a thursday or friday night game. Traffic around ANz during the week is nearly as bad as the SCG.

Andrew Wu reckons an ANZ game would be Saturday arvo.

Packed your fishing gear for the week Barry?

As a request can we have a day or so to enjoy being top of the table before you wind up Rwo?

One thing for sure...no matter where we play our first final, our club deserves our absolute support. Finished the season as minor premiers...how about we celebrate that and not worry over the venue?

I'll say it now...anyone who does not attend our final if it is purely because it is at ANZ is only punishing the team and no one else. Yes I'd much prefer the SCG but it's not the teams' fault so I'll be wherever they are cheering my heart out!

                              Go Swans!
                              Swannies for life!

Sure. If everybody promises not to whine about ANZ.
