We can march from the SCG. We might not get as many, but our march would be longer and it may draw some attention to the location of our "home" final. Google says 18.2km. Mmm, not sure the kids would be up for that.

Was at the Opera House last night. Projection of both teams players on the bridge pylons looked awesome. Sydney RWO?rs should get down there one night this week if they can.

Please no marches. Didn't the dive bombers march to the G to rally the fans around a club that cheated. No thanks; it's a wank and cheesy.

There is an interview with K Jack in the Herald Sun discussing the loss of experienced players. I really liked this quote:

"While the personnel is different this season, the way we play - our DNA - hasn't changed."

I'm currently watching RAIDERS V TIGERS in the NRL - I think a nice touch when they go to the video umpire upstairs during finals, Nation wide, is to play some ground music - Leichhardt oval had a choice of the chicken dance & Zorba the Greek!!! Beats sweet bloody Caroline hands down!! (My $10 bet that I put on at the beginning of the season that Swans & Raiders will MAKE the grand finals in the AFL & NRL coded is looking rather nice at the moment!! Odds I got at the time were $315 !!! )

OMG, just looked up the trackwork for Sat 10th and guess what. No trains between Macarthur and East Hills (Airport Line)and no trains between Liverpool and Fairfield ( Granville line) and no trains between Liverpool and Bankstown (Bankstown line). Makes it hard for us 'Westies' to go by train. Guess I will have to pre-book parking.

The event buses are running...probably easier to drive to a pickup point and save your $$$

Absolutely NO excuse not to have a perfect playing surface at ANZ on Saturday. Perfect warm and dry week ahead and no NRL game before Saturday.

It looked pretty patchy on Friday night.

They have 8 days (from that game) and perfect weather to get it right...no excuses.

I'm starting to get a little more confident for this match looking at the stats from our Round 12 match against GWS where they smashed us. Our only heavy loss for the season.

Kurt Tippett went down early so we were with only Sinclair against big Mumford for two quarters (Yikes). And Rohan was so crippled he had to sit out the last quarter. This was very telling on the scoreboard as we stuck with them up until the 3rd quarter. After that, it just blew out.

We have an extremely different squad this time around too.

Of the players who were playing in round 12 that weren't in round 23:
                                • Sinclair
                                • Rose
                                • Jones
                                • Laidler

Players who will most likely face GWS instead:
                                • Hewitt
                                • Allir
                                • X Richards
                                • Naismith

With the emergence of Naismith as a proper tap ruckman and Allir being discovered as a brilliant defender and a vital cog in our backline, I would say we have the edge going into this one.

The only worry is that we seem to play poorly after byes.
