Freo probably let him go because he butchers the ball too much. If anything, we need players who can kick the ball consistently well out of defence. That's one reason I feel that Newman will earn a spot in the backline next year. I see Laidler and Marsh as backups and would put both ahead of Pearce.

Petrie has NOTHING left and is not really a good ruckman at only 197cm in a landscape increasingly occupied by giants well over 200cm with huge reach. He was looking cooked towards the end of 2015 and I was surprised when he continued into 2016. He was crap all this year so the feeling he was cooked during late 2015 was proven very correct.
Minson is ok as a back up.Comment

So far we have lost Lamb, Jetta, Malceski, Everitt, Mummy, Membrey, Mitchell, White, Armstrong supposedly cos of Buddy and Tippett. Now apart from Mummy who have we lost that has gone on to bigger and better things? Mitchell of course is yet unknown. The so called experts reckon we lost the treasure chest.Comment

Really like Jones, he's the angry little man our back line needs!

Xavier is a fool.
Was very angry with his Grand Final performance. If he wanted a raise after that dismal performance he's just as greedy as Mitchell and I'm glad he's gone.Comment

I read a few days earlier that X wanted to return to the Swans on the deal offered to him earlier but Harley our football director had reservations about him now. So does the delisting reflect this or does it reflect a good offer from a Melbourne based club surfacing?

How many kids get the opportunity to get signed up to a real-live footy club?
How many of you dreamed of this?
Once you put your hand up, you are more or less gone.
You are no longer buying into the culture.
X is a fool.Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

The one that really stuns me is Abaina; after all the hype over his performances in the ressies, will he be relisted after all?He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)Comment
