I've watched the game 3 times now. Hewett, Marsh and Tippet were not that good.

Tippet will hopefully be better for the run, but there wasn't much effort in his running and covering loose players on Friday.

They certainly will not risk Aliir and Mills. Assuming McVeigh Comes back and Jones stays in, you'd think Marsh is s definite out. If Aliir doesn't pull up then I'd say keep Marsh in. The bulldogs play a pretty small forward line. I'm struggling to find a match up for Teddy even if Aliir misses.

Ok I checked and we actually lost the count 19-17. I wouldn't have thought that after the whinging I heard during the game!

Port we won fairly comfortably. But that seems to be a real anomaly.

After watching channel 7 news you wouldn't know that the swans are in the Grand Final. Wall to wall bulldogs. What a joke.

You live in Melbourne I am guessing and if so why are you surprised it's called local news for a good reason. Rest assured Sydney news hardly mentioned Bambi

Over the year the dogs are plus 4 in free kicks and we are minus 1.6 conspiracy theories aside this means potentially we will have 25% less free kicks then them.
We can factor this in and accept it or action it by keeping any silly actions to a minimum.

The channel 7 footy show this morning spent the best part of an hour on the dogs and at best 20 minutes on us, including an interview with Nick Smith.
I like it though, less pressure. If we were playing GWS, the pressure on us would have been intense I think.

No Tippett did def seem to be a little bit stand-offish when the ball was on the ground to be won at times. Hewett was servicable at best whilst Marsh wasnt up to it...there were a few times when a team mate tried to give a quick deft handpass off to Marsh but it went through hands on number of occasions as couldnt read how we play.

The Dogs can play with themselves.

Hewitt definitely is a shadow of the player he was at the start of the season. He was quite an accurate shot and got a few goals.

Maybe we need to rest him for a couple of games? Worked for Heeney

He is down a bit on form but his pressure has been excellent and he has been playing his role for the team.

He deserves to be in the 22 in my opinion, but could be unlucky if mills and mcveigh both come in.

Well, dogs can lick their own balls. But I'm not sure what that's got to do with the grand final?

Marsh is the weakest link and will make way for McVeigh. McVeigh's leadership down back should not be underestimated.

If Mills was to be selected then I think Hewett could be the one to make way, he doesn't seem to be contributing much in recent games. Unlucky but you have to contribute.

Hewett had 9 tackles against Cats.

Are McVeigh and Mills both going to be 100%? I think one of these 2 could be lucky if Aliir recovers, the team's just won two finals.
