It would be interesting to know who else was training today besides the 22 who played in the Prelim. plus Mills and McVeigh. Obviously Ted and Sam were, perhaps NK, Rose, Harry C. too, or are all the players required to be there still training or just soaking up the atmosphere and experiencing what it is like preparing for a GF?

Its looking like - Out Allir and Laidler- In Mills and McVeigh. It would be madness to consider Richards or Reid.Comment

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

I'm sad for Allir - but he has years ahead of him.
If we start as hard as we have the past two weeks I'm hoping our bigger bodies and steadier nerves will give us the same advantage we've grabbed the past two weeks. I can't see Ladler being dropped, either. And I hope Macca plays out of his skin - he and Kizza need redemption after 2014.Comment

While I would omit Marsh before Laidler, Marsh assumed the role as the third tall defender when Aliir went off the ground last Friday. Purely judging on that, I think that versatility might give him the edge of Laidler.Comment

You're right - we need to get some games into Reid before the big one at the start of the NAB Cup.
But why not just bring in Teddy for X? Same name so no problem with any pre-printed programs.
Or maybe drop Kizza so we have neither captain in the GF - that'd give us some headlines.Comment

Those that played in 2014 ALL have to redeem themselves.I'm sad for Allir - but he has years ahead of him.

Sorry, a bit harsh, but that's just the way it is.Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
