If West Coast win this, there will surely be mainstream discussion around playing final round games at the same time (which would be bloody great).

It would never happen for as we all know money dictates almost everything in the AFL and the TV stations would not accept losing too many live games for the round

Also logistically in terms of officials, technicians etc I don't think the AFL and/or TV stations have the numbers to cover 9 matches simultaneously.

It's excruciating watching the Eagles and hoping they win by enough to leap frog Essendon into 7th (because while I think we should be able to beat Essendon, I think West Coast would be an easier kill, with that earlier SCG escape still etched into recent memory), yet desperately hoping anyone but JJK kicks the goals they need to achieve it. Not sure they have enough firepower up forward to kick a good enough score unless Kennedy gets into gear.
