Loretta from the Swans has officially responded saying Swans offered multiple players to Taylor from a fixed position in the change rooms so that the players' warm downs are not interrupted. Channel 7 confirmed this to be true. Complete beat up by Taylor so he's the centre of attention. Has made a complete fool of himself in the process. Not the first time. Vast majority will see him as a goose.Comment

There have been instances in the past where players in various states of undress have been incidentally caught on the camera when someone is being interviewed. This is much more likely to happen when someone is "roaming". The players have just played an intense, physically demanding, body contact game for over 2 hrs. They will be exhausted and need treatment for any injuries. They shouldn't have to worry about the camera catching their groin being iced. They don't necessarily want opposition to now about their little aches and pains. The club is right to control access and protect the players. What Taylor doesn't get is the game is the entertainment, not the commentators. Trying to catch an exhausted 18 year old off guard is not entertainment. ( Who was it dropped the F-bomb after a match -the lad we sent to Richmond). I mute the commentary when it is Taylor because it is so banal, self-aggrandising and irritating. Someone needs to let them know they are not as important as they think they are.
Anyone who has run their own business knows you can't waste time and effort on actions that aren't productive. A roaming interview with Taylor is in that category.Comment

Couple of times I've turned on this year to find no Saturday night game. I'm sure there was always one in previous years, is it a new decision? Maybe it's when GWS play twilight Saturday that we don't get the night game.Comment

Maybe Channel 7 are getting their retaliation for last night in early! All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated, and well supported in logic and argument than others. -Douglas Adams, author (11 Mar 1952-2001)Comment

I think it was due to the Thursday night game. C7 switched its Saturday night game entitlement for the Thursday night game.Comment

They only get 4 games a round and they had thursday night this week. Saturday and Sunday leading into the news are a lock.Comment

BT was on Triple M today promulgating the theory that the Swans doctored the SCG by letting the grass grow long and watering the pitch before the NEAFL game. The idea being that it would blunt Essendon's speed advantage. However he didn't reveal the source of his information, saying it was off the record (?)Comment

Disappointed in Sam Lane tonight on the pre game show before the WC-Melb game with her 'heroes and villains' segment, where she had the Swans as the villains for not letting Ch 7 have access to the Swans players with the other commentators heartily agreeing .....don't let the facts get in the way of a bit of mudslinging and manufactured controversy eh? I thought she was better than that, but as we've seen before, working at Ch 7 has an influence. Even the formerly neutral Lingy is a biased tool now. Huddo's commentary in the 2005 semi, while witnessing his team Geelong having a sure victory snatched away by Nick Davis was sheer class and is now legendary! Truly professional.Last edited by stevoswan; 24 June 2017, 10:56 PM.Comment

That was my thought exactly Doctor.... why would we do that when we have years of history of falling over on a wet surface.
Seriously though, disgraceful allegations from BT unless he is going to back it up with evidence. And we all know that wont happen."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment
