Presumably he's travelled to Melbourne as an emergency given that Newman and Aliir are both playing. Not sure why they name Jack as an emergency if the idea is to rest him. Presumably it's just to fill a spot on a piece of paper, which shows how meaningless the introduction of a fourth emergency is.Comment

What are the conditions? They're not playing in the wet are they? I'm surprised we're not hitting the scoreboard a bit more. I was kind of expecting a blow out, which may still happen. Certainly we're not letting them score much, which is good to see.All opinions are not equal. Not sure but the stats are actually quite even. Redland even had more inside 50s that quarter than us but we were the better converters.
Talking about blowouts Southport lead Uni 66-1 at half time!Comment

Looks like Stoddart could be playing forward, just kicked the first goal of the second half.Comment

Assuming that Coorparoo has had much the same weather as the Gold Coast, it would be a little bit slippery from some heavy showers the previous couple of days, but there hasn't been much around today and there's very little wind.Comment

no rain up there according the the Weatherwatch. Our blokes just can't kick for goal. Another example of nearly losing the game because we did not take advantage of our opportunities. We have lost three Reserves Grand finals under the same circumstances. Bad kicking is bad football. Our blokes need to spend more time in front of the sticks.Comment

A lot of talk has been centred around Cameron and whether he should get a game which is fair as he has been playing very well. However there?s another player who has been playing consistently well for a number of weeks now and who I would like to see get rewarded for his form. O?Riordan?s improvement this year, particularly his defensive of his game has been noticeable and I think would stand up in the seniors. Whether the Swans can and are willing to find a spot for him with the current lineup is another issue.Comment

O'Riordan should have been given a game/s before Stoddart, he was clearly outperforming him in the NEAFL and much more physically developed for senior footy than Stoddart.
Cameron too should have been tried rather than McCartin just to give Sinclair a genuine chop out for longer periods of games.
Good to see Dawson play a full game and get touches. It's well known on here my annoyance that Dawson in ripping NEAFL form and providing a point of difference for the senior side last year was over looked in lieu of Foote who spudded it up at senior level.
Thanks for the updates Ugg, appreciated muchly!Comment
