Yes, Longmire was more confident in that interview than in his presser earlier in the day.

        two previous consecutive losses.
I don’t think they are any shoein.
If they do progress, good luck to them , however SYDNEY are no mugs at this finals caper.
Well I do want the kids to have another final at the G (I think West Coast will beat Pies).
Giants are already pretty unsettled by losing their last 2 games, against fellow finalists in fairly convincing fashion.
They need to implement multiple changes, because the team that they put out in the last round wont win a final.

Beyond getting to play the derby final at home, GWS didn't have much to play for in Rd 23, while Melbourne most certainly did. So I feel they may have taken it a little easier. Will certainly come out all fired up on Saturday I feel.

Yep, I suspect we'll see a fired up and therefore ferocious GWS this week.

They are not to be underestimated.

If they get their mojo back they'll be hard to stop.

That Swans survey to win two Granny ticks doesn’t even mention
RWO as yourpreferred source of info. What’s goin on?

On paper its a very even final. Both teams had about the same number of wins, both teams have a fair bit of finals experience. A lot will come down to how fit the inclusions are.
Their equivalent of Reid in fragility is Deludio. Do either play ?

And I expect both teams to play with finals fericious-ness.

But I just dont think GWS making 4 plus changes is that unsettling. Especially as they are getting back to the round 21 side which was on a pretty good wining streak.

There is very little separating us and GWS. I can see them coming at us physically the way they did in the 2016 ANZ final.
Their best is probably better than our best, and I'd imagine they will field a slightly more experienced team. However we have won the
last three games against them, so maybe we are working them out a bit better these days. A 50/50 game if ever there was one.

Umpires for all games has been announced.

Who's in charge? AFL reveals umpires for finals - AFL.com.au

We get Margetts, Stevic, Williamson. We'll need to be at least a five goal better team to win this now.....

KTigers.....your 50/50 game just became a 70/30 game in GWS favour....

Why do the AFL always inflict Stevic on us in important games??? As I've said repeatedly in the past.....it can't be just coincidence!

Absolutely would not surprise me if they pick Reid this week. The safe play would be to get him through a NEAFL game and give McCartin the finals experience, but theres no next week if we lose in any case.

I'm not confident one way or another as GWS are a dangerous team with their best players in. I dont believe Greene played earlier in the year and no Nick Smith to nullify him this week.

GWS are 3-9 vs top 8 teams so perhaps their form line was deceiving, but still worry about their full strength line up.

                          .
i dont think we will pick Reid, simply because in 2016 Reid was "training the house down" after an extended period on injury and we didnt pick him for the grand final, and lost. probably the selection that cost a premiership.

                          Hence we are very conservative.

we might find out if the coaching panel still regret that decision.

I don’t think a Gf would be the same scenario especially given the dogs didn’t have a strong ruck division. Mills vs Marsh selection was already bad enough that day.

A difference being Stevie J is in our colours this time and won’t be throwing his agro against us

Given our form at the SCG, I hypothesise that they tanked to avoid playing us on their dung heap

So many forecasting this game will be brutal, aggressive, physical and full of bullying.
The main aggressor now coaches our team, the winner still has 3 more games to go all the way.
Particularly with Stevic watching/pouncing this is a game where the Swans really need to play the ball and tackle fairly, no slings or Ill disciplined acts.
Forget the brutality , play amazing footy!!
