Looks like I'll be watching it at the pub.
    Yep, similar experience.

Which pub? You could have a lot of mates!

They are rebooting the system and stopped the sale for now - try again a bit later when it is recommenced. Otherwise there will be plenty of tickets come general sale.
        Thanks, I won't panic yet.

Not everyone is in a position to spend that sort of cash every year on their Membership......

That's why I said it was an "investment" MCS. It's not cheap. They charge me about $220 per month (for a couple membership). A single membership, of course, is a lot cheaper.
There are big reasons I choose to be single and childless... they mainly centre around being able to do what I want, when I want and where I want.
              Ah... the serenity!!!

A single membership is still $1400 per annum..... not what many would call a lot 'cheaper'. I'm sure we'd all love to be in a position to make such an 'investment' - but for various reasons, all in themselves valid, many people aren't. We all have our own priorities and life choices of course, but showing at least a little empathy for others never goes astray either.

So NOW they are going to stagger the ticket sales by match.

Nobody thought of that BEFORE this mess. We’ve been saying it for years.

There hasn't been such an issue to be able to make a purchase since the Rampe Robe.

                        Seriously, it sucks.
A poor reflection of what you get with your membership.
And also a poor reflection of corporate allocation etc from the AFL.

The annual Ticketek SCG AFL finals ticketing mess isn't really the club's fault. Ticketek has the contract to sell tickets
for all events at the SCG, so if there is a RL game or the Monster Truck Jam on at the SCG, everyone will be excited
to know Ticketek will be selling the tickets to those events also.

I'm sure the AFL will spin it that the finals are so popular, fans crashed the Ticketek servers.
I've had to use Ticketek for a couple of big concerts this year (Foo Fighters and Ed Sheeran) and it was @@@@house then too.
Ticketmaster seem to be much better at handling the demand (Adele and Boomers v USA)

I suspect the dividend that Ticketek pays the AFL is bigger than the Ticketmaster offer.

No one is having trouble buying tickets to the Colliwobble game. These tickets are being sold through Ticketmaster.
