Former premiership player, Marty Mattner, will be coaching Sturt in the SANFL grand final today. Opposing him in the Glenelg side, are James Bell and former rookie lister, Toby Pink. Academy graduate, Luke Giacometti, is on the extended bench for Sturt, but is probably more likely to play in the reserves GF, alongside fellow academy graduates, Angus Anderson and Liam Puncher.

Old boy, Toby Pink who was delisted by the Swans without playing a senior game, and went on to play in the SANFL. He played in this year's premiership team Glenelg Tigers as fullback. Looks like he will be picked up by North Melb as a possible replacement for Ben McKay.Comment

My (admittedly vague) memory was that he was tried as a key defender in the latter stages of his NEAFL career. While he looked more natural in defence than in attack, I don't think he showed enough to suggest he would have made it as a KPD.Comment

Some guys, especially big blokes, take longer to mature. He'd be mid 20s now...must be others out there around the same age who are way readier than they were 4 or so years ago.Comment

What the hell did Toby Pink do to be punished by being picked to play KPD for Norf?'Delicious' is a fun word to sayComment

Ex-Sydney Swans ruckman Sam Naismith on Richmond Tigers' radar after impressive VFL season
"The Tigers are now on the ruck search, with Naismith on the radar as an option after a standout campaign in the VFL with Port Melbourne.
The 31-year-old ruckman, who played 30 games for the Swans in an injury-hit career, averaged 14 disposals and nearly 40 hitouts a game at the level and could be signed by any club once the delisted free agency period begins next Wednesday, given he was previously on an AFL list."Comment
