I don’t get that sense of Mitchell, no.

Maybe unfair on him, but I think he’d keep it the way it is.

My understanding Mitchell was offered $350-400,000, while Heeney got an average of around $750K and Mills around $600K. We prioritised the local kids. I don’t blame him, but right now, it looks like the right decision by us.
        Exactly.

I know he’s not quite a former player as we effectively traded him away, but can you believe the fuss the media is making re Carey.

I mean, who hasn’t been to a casino with a few goodies in their pocket.

Is it bad to be the someone who hasn’t done this? Asking for a friend.

What a ridiculous comment. Stop trying to justify errant and illegal activities by saying everyone does it. Most people don’t.

I don’t think this latest one is a huge deal, and is hardly a surprise for someone in the entertainment industry.

However, I don’t understand how he has a gig in the first place. His record is atrocious and he’s a smug piece of @@@@. The sooner he’s off our screens the better.

A reasonable and fair summary I'd have thought. The question of whether we should have had to make a choice between the local kids and Mitchell is another issue entirely.

Wayne Carey is 51. I think its time to put away the white powder Wayne. Thats a younger mans game. Start acting your age.

If Gary Rohan had played like he did last weekend, in the 2016 grand final, even the umpires couldnt have made the dogs win.

I can recall Longmire being asked the Mitchell question in a TV interview, and he said;" the club could only afford to keep two of Mitchel, Heeny & Mills. So it was money, not opportunity that was the reason Mitchell left our club.

Some of the media hyperventilation about Rohan's redemption is over the top. To be clear, he's played well in finals before. He was good in both our prelims in 2014 and 2016, and he's had some ok finals for Geelong. It's Grand Finals where he has truly choked.

Me. I work bloody hard for my money, and have no wish to gamble it away or waste it on getting wasted.

he was running at packs without an opponent too.

I’m happy for Gary he’s had some redemption but I don’t think he was very closely guarded. I doubt he kicks a goal on Rampe or Fox

I think I have only been to a casino to watch a show (no goodies unfortunately)
