Thanks for the input. But that doesn't seem right to me. First, I'm not sure if it is allowable to contract a rookie more than one year. Second, we already have our full quota of Cat A rookies not including Bell. Third, we need an extra senior listed player to reach the minimum threshold of 38 and it has to be Bell, surely.

I get a primary list of 8 (includes O'Connor) with a rookie list of 8 incl Bell and McLean. Can someone advise the right numbers we seem to be all over the shop,

The 37 on the primary list (if Bell is still a rookie) could indicate the club is still looking to add a player via the SPP process. Indeed, it would suggest they must be, since 38 is the minimum list size (senior list).

Keeping Bell as a Cat B rookie does restrict his short term opportunities as it means he is ineligible to play senior football until someone is placed on the LTIL. Given he broke through for his senior debut late in 2019, you’d reckon he would be hoping to have himself in contention for more senior games early in the new season.

Here is our draft team. Either the man closest to the camera with the bald head, or the man standing with the bald head, is Ross Monahan, future list manager/recruiter. Who is the other one?

Thanks ugg. Trust you to know. I believe he's our player welfare manager, so that makes a lot of sense.

Interesting that they had JPK there. Not sure that he was in the room last year.

Is no one incensed that a Swans player was wearing their baseball cap back-to-front a la Flanders in that Facebook video?

I'm glad you went Simpsons then. There was a bit of outrage when Flanders wore his baseball cap back to front when being interviewed before the draft.

Its a HUGE no no punishable by the Squad being given extra pushups, sprints etc etc . I know hes not to know that but if he was an academy kid they would crucify him for that and he would know never to present himself that way.

It was Sam Naismith I think. Too big to take issue with.

The numbers don't look right. If Bell was not promoted too the senior list then perhaps it was McLean.
