It has not quite been Subiaco or the G when Richmond play - too late anyway - nothing in the first quarter - 10-1 frees.

Agree here. A home Sydney crowd is hardly an intimidating prospect for umpires and opposition teams.

I think I did hear some booing through the blaring Adelaide song though probably directed at the umpires walking off.

I remember going to a match at the G against Essendon over a decade ago. During the week Hirdhad been sooking about the umpiring the week prior and the umpires gifted the game to them. Sam Newman said after the game that the umpires affected the result. We need to start complaining about this crap instead of remains silent and polite. The Swans have received the lowest free kick ratio (by amassing margin) of all clubs over the last decade. Something needs to be done about this bias.

It was Mike Fitzpatrick's parting gift in revenge for us recruiting Buddy. Ream them week in, week out until they die.....

We are expecting too much of the young players this year. 2019 will be a down year methinks.

I really think the lack of development in our younger players is a thing. Things not right at the moment. Change needed.

I can't believe we haven't significantly changed our game plan in years despite the clear trend of the game and the rule changes. When we attack we can match most time but for most of the game we resort to defensive football time and time again. We are going nowhere until we start averaging nearly 100 points a game.

I though the recent emphasis was on speed and skill, not seeing enough from the young players.

Also sadly i think the game has passed Josh Kennedy, he will still get good numbers but having no real impact on the game. Though he wasnt alone in that in the midfield group.

Isnt it great to see Aliir take the game, sure there are costly mistakes but he more than makes up for it. More of our players need to follow his example.

Just really sad at what is now looking like a long year with no great positives, if we are losing can we at least try and implement a new game plan

Yes 27 - 16.....tonight's game was close to '16 GF bias. I'm almost becoming numb to it though.....sort of like putting up the white flag where the umpires are concerned. As I said before, it's soul destroying.

Would be fascinating to see where the teams finished, then we would see how much of an influence umpires have on the game

Overall we had too many quiet players. I'm concerned about our younger players the last 2 weeks going missing. I'm going to try and not expect too much this year. It's going to be a year for our young players to get experience.

But it sucks to lose ????. And it's worse when we're screwed by the umpires.
