We are a bottom four team. It's time to accept that and commence the rebuild. Get as many games into the youngsters and give the old stalwarts farewell games at the end of the year.

Once the game opened up we clearly cannot go with their run and spread. Their speed and fitness has been just too much for us. Which is what you'd expect from, as someone else said, a synthetic team of top draft picks.

What is pathetic is the turn out of the hundred-odd Giants fans. To call this a rivalry match makes a mockery of the tradition and passion of real footy teams and fans.

There is this idea that some of our young players are not yet ready for AFL. That implies that those in the team are ready (or more ready) for the big time. Can someone explain to me how Ronke and Clarke are more ready than COR, Rose, McInerney, Wicks, Cameron, Stoddart or virtually anyone in 2's?
