Stay the course, adding three potentially very good players in December, it's coming together nicely.

Might even add a gun KPF to the team next season

Surely the AFL MUST give the list size rules before ant trading. Clubs do not know how many players they need to delist. Bad mgt on the AFL' behalf.

AFLPA playing hard ball, that's the hold up and they hold all the aces as the CBA which has two more years to run specifies list sizes and TPP etc.

Good on the AFLPA for holding the AFL to their contract!

Jesse Hogan to the Giants for pick 54! Guess they are paying his entire salary next year then.

Wow! Hogan must have some serious issues more than what we know for Freo to just give him away.

On another matter, AFL has released a statement winding back the NGA concessions. They were conned into creating them by Fat Chins & co constant bleating about the Northern academies and the stupidity of NGAs has come home to roost this draft with the Number 1 pick being an NGA.

Hickey being a done deal means the Aliir to Port play is officially dead now that we have our ruckman

The AFL are phasing out the NGA, ONE YEAR TOO LATE! We are still going to be screwed out of getting one of the top 3 key forwards this year. What a bummer. It looks like a small thing, but it's huge in respect to the long term impact on our forward line.

Is it just bad luck, or is it something else?

So you think McDonald and Tilthorpe will be picked at 1 and 2? Leaves Holland, Phillips or DGB for us at pick 3, not unhappy with those choices.

JUH, McDonald and Thilthorpe are the 3 top rated players and I expect the draft to go that way. Hollands is an outside chance for North Melbourne, as they need everything, but key forwards are always hard to come by, so I can't see them going past picking the one available at pick 2. It's never certain. Let's say Thilthorpe is the one available at pick 2, but their list manager doesn't rate him, so they go with someone else.

I'm not convinced JUH is a forward. Think he wants to play in the midfield, eventually. He's 196cm though.
