How is it that AFL.com has our 4 de-listings but nothing on our own Sydney Swans site? And comments from Charlie Gardner!Comment

Blakey could play Dawson's role if we are looking for a like for like replacement. The lizard showed glimpses of what he is capable of and if he fulfilled potential, could be one of the best players in the league. Stephens, JMac and Campbell can all provide run and carry off HB, especially if we play three proper tall defenders.Comment

On the above post about recruiting a 190cm hybrid player: West Coast have just announced that they want to trade Jarrod Brander. I don't know much about his form, but he's a 196cm, former pick 13, who's played both forward and back. Also originally from Wentworth in NSW; but I don't know how relevant that is, when possibly recruiting someone to Sydney.Comment

Joey: the ruck option that I would be most interested in, is Lynch from Collingwood. Did really well against Gawn, when Grundy was out injured, but after that, was back out of the side when Grundy returned. The likelihood of him continuing to languish behind Grundy, might have him looking for further opportunities.Comment

I was very pleased with Blakey's form, when he switched to the half back flank. If he gets a good run with injuries, he should develop into one of the competition's most exciting players to watch.

I’d like Blakey to stay back behind the ball. The person I want on the wing to replace Dawson who’s also got serious foot skills and marking ability is Heeney. I know he needs to roll forward too but he’s a natural born winger.'Delicious' is a fun word to sayComment

I think the Swans would be very interested in Brander if he can come at a reasonable price. He is probably worth a second rounder. His money requirements should be fair too. Talia is a proven player but near to the end of his career. Brander is also a much better age for our list profile.Comment
