Given your outstanding track record of identifying the unique talents of the younger Swans players, many people on here are very enthused on Sheather.

I’ve never seen Sheather play. I’m going solely on your endorsement, which is good enough for me.

My son did a clinic where Sheather was coaching and said that he was a terrific bloke.

I think for a young player, if my son says he’s a terrific bloke and TheBloods endorsers his talent then he’s clearly going to be a winner.

Haven’t you ever wondered why he always steps up another notch against us
I think with Mumford, and also Hewitt, it is far more of a case of us saying ‘we can’t offer you what you probably deserve, so we’re not going to do insult you by offering the low amount we could afford’.

Tom Harley made it very clear we hadn’t made any offer to Hewitt, and that no meaningful discussions had taken place.

We had to tone down the coronation ball this year due to Covid.

He looks like a winner, especially having a previous winner in the background.

The only sad thing about the Luddies is that Abe Davis still blames me for ruining his career after he went on the Ludwig Skin Folds program before he got delisted. He just couldn't get it that he was supposed to do what I say, not what I do.

While not wishing to diminish Sheather's achievement in winning the Luddie (nor downplaying optimism on his prospects), I don't think it was a very long shortlist. Maybe two?

I don't want to change a noun into a verb, but fan-girling immediately came to mind. Someone will be wanting selfies and a signature next. I'd join him, if only the said subject was Luke Parker.

And the alternative candidate was just delisted. There was another name out there, but he was disqualified on the grounds of being a ruckman, and having the name Lachlan didn't help either.

The way the delistings were announced on the Swans website wasn't right, hidden at the bottom of the re-signings. Come on , Swans, you can do better than that to recognise these guys who have had a very tough year or so, particularly Lingy. Hope Lingy comes good and shows us the potential he was signed for

I think you have got that one wrong Ludwig. The alternative candidate was Malachy.
