If I was picking a "Team" to win a Grand Final then The Diesel would be in my top 3 picked first of any players I have seen.

Genius user of the ball and unbelievable handball skills.

I believe he kicked 6 goals and had 50+ disposals for the Swans one day.

I think that's primarily to lodge rookie upgrades ahead of the drafts tomorrow. It would be a non-classy way to delist a player who has done nothing wrong - ie to have given him no opportunity during the main DFA periods or the drafts.

I don't understand how Carlton got away with only drafting one player. I know the AFL refused them a replacement for Jones but I would have thought they needed to take two. Likewise I understood Gold Coast was committed to redrafting Thomson on the Senior list but they did not.

You listed 41 plus Paddy and Anderson = 43. Missing Ladhams and one other?

Feels like our draft selections are relatively safe picks that we can expect to have an impact early in their tenure. Physically very well developed - not really a lot of long term development types.
Given we're hitting a window of competitiveness and the volatility of this years draft, I think it's the right move.

My guess is that Parker and JPK are near the end of their careers and it's a bit of succession planning. This is hinted at by the type of mids drafted.

still dont know whos on our rookie list. Thoght McAndrews was added to main list at last yrs mid season draft. Am ealier post mentioned a swans message re oconnor and wicks being upgraded and where does mclean stand. very confusing.

And Terry "The Wallet" Wallace said Sam Mitchell was too slow.
Wallace was right. All Mitchell had going for him was brilliant disposal by hand and foot on either side of the body, an incredible ability to read the play, through-the-roof footy IQ, the capacity to run all day and being hard as nails.

I get 38 on main list incl mcllister but doesnt incl wicks occonor or mclean. when will the club clear this up for its supporters. I have asked re wicks and mclean about 3 times but answer is still working on list no time to explain.

Unless they were upgraded overnight (in the window that opened at 10pm last night), Wicks, McLean, McAndrew and O'Connor are all on the rookie list (O'Connor as a Cat B).
