And didn't get a single touch in his first game - just 1 tackle. The bit of the stats I don't get from his first game (May be an error) was he conceded one free kick and got one free kick - but didn't have a disposal...

Maybe he got a free, missed his boot when he went to kick it and was penalized for incorrect disposal? Although a more commonplace explanation, would be his free was on the siren and he didn't take his kick.

Let's look more closely. I'm using the AFL Tables version of these statistics.
1 tackle, 1 free for, 1 free against, 1 contested possession, but no kicks or handpasses recorded.
How can there be a contested possession without a kick or handpass? I think there's an error here.

What if the ball is kicked inside 50, it goes to ground and he wins the contested possession, only to be tackled high before he can dispose of the ball. Gets a free kick and kicks it out of bounds on the full when having a shot at goal.
Does his kick count as a disposal if out on the full?

I think a free kick counts as a contested possession. So if he got a free, and then either, someone else in his team played on to advantage, or the siren sounded before he could take his kick: then the stats would be correct.

I think that in future that kick could be counted under a newly created s*** kick category.
Glad it wasn't only me that found that stat confusing. Could well just be an error - I only looked it up as he talked about not getting a possession in his first game last week when talking about Mcdonald, and was intrigued to see if he was broadly correct. Kinda wanna see the possession of his 'free for' to see what happened now ha!

Do people think the Campbell, McDonald and Guldon draft is the best Swans draft of the decade?
Other good drafts include:
2013 - Jones, Nankervis, Allir and Hewitt (all top best 22 footballers even mostly for other teams).
2014 - Heeney and Dawson
2018 - Blakey, Rowbottom, McInerey
At this point I would say the last draft was better than any of those you’ve cited.

What about if the free got reversed? Does the original possession get recorded?

I agree. They're off to a flyer. 2018 draft haul in 2nd place. Could change if Blakey really gets his act together but 2020 is looking like an all time great draft haul at this early stage.
