That's probably in case we have an injury between now and game time. Should that unlikely event happen, I would assume Stephens comes in and Gray would be the sub.

This doesn't mean Gray is next in line after Stephens but more that they don't want one of the others only playing half a game.

I thought Gray looked pretty ordinary in the first half of our ressies game. I would have others in front of him.

Definitely agree. Even the top ups like Morrison, Cordell, Bartholomaeus and A Gulden have looked a level above Gray. Wonder what has happened to him? He was pretty handy at Port.

The point is he won’t be needed. Why stop someone like Rowbottom or Ling playing a full game?

A lot of senior blokes not contributing at all this quarter so far. Papley, Parker, Kennedy, Florent, Lloyd yet yet to have any impact

Slow start but ground into it and decent late. Hickey needs to just keep running mummy around the ground - he will be gassed by the 3rd term at this rate.

Tackles started to stick towards the end too which helped as early it was very poor all around.

I used to like Melican but there were two tackles in 30 seconds they he could not hold on much smaller men - not good enough.
