can everyone leave me out of the Chad worship ! Hes a freak talent but ive said countless times now that he will still only fulfil his potential if he stays humble, puts his head down bum up and works hard to be the best player he can be . It will not just happen for him

Ive also disagreed with Bangalore swans countless times that he is not at the stage yet where his impact is that big that the team will turn to water without him !

All i have said is that he is one of the exceptional young talents on our list and that he is ahead of any of our other young mids . That is obvious to anyone watching , it does not mean i am leading a cult in his name !

Will Hayward reveals most talented player in Sydney's young core on Channel 9's Sunday Footy Show
      - when he talked about the young talents at Swans and casually mentioned that Logan McDonald is injured.

Thank you for that …thats very exciting with Hayward saying Logan could be anything ..

Also in that background footage to his interview one can’t help but enjoy McLean’s highlights ..some more than handy marks and a lovely forward tap on to a running player maybe Papley ..

I think Brian Taylor is very under appreciated as a commentator by the Swans supporters community. He’s a good old school larrikin and sadly his type are disappearing from the entertainment industry. The fact he gets Friday Nights and Sunday afternoons shows that’s he’s immensely popular.

I enjoy all his sayings and his Llooooooyd and The Package.

Sort of guy I would enjoy having a beer with and hearing the stories from the Tunnel Nightclub in the 80s.

Used to enjoy roaming Brian. Some great funny moments.

Suspect the Swans supporters don’t like him because he called end of career on Alex Johnson 5 minutes after he injured his knee against the Demons in 2018. He made the brave call (we all knew he was correct) and the Swans supporters didn’t like hearing the truth.

                  I am following now!!

They are a fantastic family. There was an insinuation posted on here a while ago that Rowy's family connections were responsible for him receiving some recognition.. this couldn't be further from the truth as his family have gone out of their way to NOT involve themselves in his career..

they were the ones who encouraged him to move interstate if it could help his career.. they wanted him to forge a career separate from his footballing background which is pretty rich with Victorian footy royalty (his dad Adam was a great VFA footballer back in the day - played with my hubby!!, his uncle is BT as is well known, and his family are also very very close with the Maguires)

They have taken the same approach with his sister, Charlie, who was in the headlines recently for nominating Gold Coast Suns in the AFLW draft rather than her home state of Victoria so as to make her own path!!

They were thrilled that James was able to go to a different state and learn off great former Victorians in Joey and Parks about what life away from home is like .. he is learning how to start a life in Sydney off them and his parents could not speak in greater terms about those two leaders in particular.. he is in this club for the long haul and it starts at the top with his parents..

A little side note that im not sure has been reported anywhere .. because of his eagerness to move interstate he was in the sights of West Coast Eagles and they had him lined up with their 2nd round pick in that draft which was pick 28! We nabbed him first, with our pick 25.. which we got from .. the West Coast Eagles!! They wanted an inside mid and ended up taking Xavier O'Neill instead! I like to think KB is such a cunning bastard that he took the Eagles' draft pick and then used it to steal the player they wanted from under their nose, but I doubt KB was privy to the Eagles draft plans.. more likely it was just a cruel twist of fate for them.. how sad ..

Talk about taking 2 + 5 and getting 347,821 - why would swans fans dislike him on that basis? I suspect the large majority wouldn't even remember him saying that (I certainly don't). I'd suggest the real reason many don't like him is simply because they think he is a @@@@ commentator. Look at the truly best commentators across sport, and one thing is constant - they don't need to retort to stupid sayings, absurd pronounciations of names. They actually focus on calling the game and filling the gaps they need to. Not resorting to lowbrow humour and so called 'wit' - in my opinion he is a very poor caller of the actual game.

People are allowed to disagree with your views of the world - you don't need to try and impose your will on everyone by coming up with bizarre rationales to try and suggest why your view is correct and everyone else is wrong.

I think it's well known that I'm a big fan of BT. I think his job is to be entertaining, and he is entertaining. If we only had serious talk around footy, it would be drudgery. I like a bit of silliness to lighten things up. (No surprises there).

Hold the press. If I have an opinion I’m trying to impose my view on the world and belive that my view is correct and everyone else’s view is wrong.

You need to do better MCS. I’m known on this forum for inviting the views of others to comment whether it’s TheBloods, Barracuda, Ludwig or Neon.

Ludwig is showing great depth of understanding on the importance of the commentary mix. You need a funny guy. In cricket you have Kerry O-Keefe with that laugh. BT does that for the AFL

The greatest I’ve heard was John Madden who had everything. He could be the funny guy, he had the iconic voice, his comments were highly intelligent and had the respect of being a Super Bowl winning coach.

Please stop with this 'need to do better' garbage. It is an open forum, not your own little fiefdom, and your views are no more worthy than anybody elses, and you are certainly not in charge in any shape or form with moderating responses. So stop trying to puff up your own ego by trying to play unofficial hall monitor - you do it constantly and it exactly illustrates my point of your ongoing belief in your self-imposed diety status

And if you can't see the irony of saying you 'invite views' but then following it up with a select list of your favourite posters, then you are not trying very hard. Its nothing more than the forum equivalent of 'ass licking', and its tiring and boring to read.

I think BT is a terrible commentator, and no matter what crap you want to roll out or whatever the views of your 'chosen few' are, my view won't change.

Why are you so convinced every body who gets annoyed by your “ opinions “ and provides you with feedback can do better ?

I can tell you for a fact that in my case it takes a hell of a lot of self control to not provide you with the sort of feedback that some of your statements deserve . Feedback that would warrant completely different language and delivery in any other forum whether that be in person or online. I think many of us do our very best given the parameters that apply on this site and couldn’t be any better.

You might feel you are known for taking on the role of inviting opinion from certain posters that you have declared to be more worthy of than others however I suspect that in your short time on the site that is not what you have become known for.
And have you never noticed that most people , and especially some of your chosen seers, will choose to offer an opinion on this site without needing your prompting.
Please cease your sycophantic posts and thinking that your publicised thoughts and opinions are beyond reproach.
